“'Les Huguets' is the name of our Bed and Breakfast in the south-west of France. An authentic house located in a beautiful green valley surrounded by nature.”

Welcome to Les Huguets

Imagine a large stone house, solid and warm, just as they were built three centuries ago. It's nestled in the heart of a living, soothing countryside, where the rhythm of the day is dictated by the rising and setting of a generous sun.

This is where you are.

At Les Huguets, we welcome you to an authentic atmosphere of calm and serenity. The fine materials, spacious rooms, natural light... everything here invites you to relax. Whether you're just passing through or looking for a rejuvenating break, our comfortable rooms open onto a wild, unspoilt panorama as far as the eye can see.

Les Jonquilles

Formerly known as Les Jonquilles, after the flower that covered the slopes of our hill, our house became Les Huguets in the early 1900s. Seduced by the natural beauty and singular energy of the place - with its remarkable 500-year-old tree and its breathtaking view over the Lot valley - we founded our family and guest house here in 1990.

Les Huguets is the name of our locality, situated in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, between Penne-d'Agenais and Pujols. It is thought to have originated with the Huguet family, who came from Clermont-Ferrand around 1850 at the invitation of the Baron of Château de la Sylvestrie, just a 5-minute walk away.

Today, Les Huguets is a haven of peace, a place to recharge your batteries nestled in 35 hectares of natural parkland, crossed by the GR 652, on the route to Santiago de Compostela.

Our rooms

The focal point of Les Huguets is the large partly covered balcony, from where you look out into the peaceful expanse of the valley, with the medieval village of Penne d'Agenais on the horizon. On this terrace you can also enjoy a French breakfast or a delicious glass of local wine.
